In 2012, Plymouth was host to the National Armed Forces Day. HRH The Earl of Wessex & the Prime Minister were on the guest list.
Fuel Communications commissioned PriorCreative to create & develop a souvenir brochure, an opportunity to promote this prestigious event across the Plymouth City in partnership with Destination Plymouth & the MOD.
PriorCreative’s brief from Fuel was to create an energetic & patriotic visual language & apply this to the brochure within Destination Plymouth’s brand guides (Positively Plymouth).
The A4 brochure was designed using angular, geometric graphic elements. This was applied throughout the brochure, adhering to the National Armed Forces Day style & colour palette. The project included some fantastic photography from the MOD which further enhanced the finished product.
The result was a dynamic souvenir guide. The event attracted around 30,000 visitors. PriorCreative also helped to design signs & way-finding boards.
